| 2-Way Closed-Box System Surround Sound Speaker. The technology used so effectively in the Nautilus has been adapted and developed for the highly successful Nautilus 800 Series. The Nautilus principle of using tubes to absorb the unwanted sound generated at the back of the drivers is directly applied to the tweeters and B&W's FST Kevlar mid-range drive units improve cone response times and integrity of sound transmission, which sit time-aligned on top of each system. To complete the Home Cinema solution, the SCM1 is shallow and wall-mountable to allow for minimum intrusion yet producing amazing clarity. The only surround speakers designed to the same exact standards as the other speakers in the Nautilus 800 series creating the perfect Home Cinema system.
